1. Creating a new account
Access the registration website at: https://centraldesistemas.sbc.org.br/ecos/splc2012
Click on the US flag on the right corner of the screen to change the language. The following page will be shown:
Registration Tutorial
Click on “New Account” and fill the form below. Remember to select your nationality and enter your passport number.
After filling all the mandatory information, click on submit.
WARNING: The first letter of each name must be uppercase.
2. Configuring your conference
After registering, the following page will be shown: (Click on ECOS to select the Conference.)
Search for the SPLC 2012 and click on Register Now. The following webpage will be shown:
Choose the name that will be printed on your badge.
Choose your category (values are shown according to the Brazilian currency - Real [R$]).
Currency converters - US Dollar (USD), Euro (EUR), and others
Choose your activities* (workshops, tutorials, doctoral symposium).
*Please, pay attention when selecting the activities. It is not allowed to register for activities that occur at the same time. To check the activity time, roll the mouse over the clock in front of each activity.
Choose the number of additional dinner. Check the total values and click on submit.
3. Registration overview
After configuring your conference, the following page will show the details and values for your configuration:
There are two options to proceed with the payment. One at the top page “Please, click here to proceed with the payment” and, another at the bottom page “Pay”. Please, check the values and select one option to proceed.
4. Credit Card payment
After checking the values, you should select one of the following credit cards (MasterCard or Visa*) to proceed with the payment:
* “Visa Electron” is available just for Brazilians.
To proceed with the payment click on the button “Clique aqui para pagar”, as shown below:

On the first screen, if you are not brazilian, you need to choose your nationality. When you choose your nationality different of Brazilian, the system will requires your passport number as shown in second screen.
